Planning has already begun for the 30th Annual Disability Advocacy Day to happen on March 6, 2019!
The SCPDO held its May meeting where members said goodbye and thank you to Breanna Spaulding of the Brain Injury Association of SC for her years of hard work in the community. In her place, the committee elected Cindy Farr as secretary. Cindy works at the Newberry County Disabilities and Special Needs Board and has been with the SCPDO for many years aiding in the DAD planning.
New members are being recruited to help with planning and join in the day's festivities. For more information or to become a SCPDO member, please contact Margie Williamson at the Arc of South Carolina or Dawn Darby at The Therapy Place. Both may be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Also, the SCPDO is seeking input from area students for a redesign of the SCPDO logo. If you are interested in submitting a logo for the competition, please let us know via the same email address.
